Once the slurry is at the desired consistency, it is moved to the depositor and deposited into molds. The molds are pre-treated with oil to prevent sticking.

The final product is molded in a starch molding machine called a Mogul. It automatically performs many tasks in the manufacturing process of gummy candy. During the molding process, the candy is placed in starch trays that cool down overmight. The trays are then sent to a sieve, where a metal screen vibrates to filter the excess starch. When they are done, they are cooled and ready for packaging.
